It's complete and it is beautiful. Grass should start growing around it in about 2 weeks.
The dedication will be in a few weeks. We will post the date as soon as it is set. Bricks will be engraved at the end of August. Orders for bricks must be in by August 1, 2010.
All are welcome and encouraged to come and experience the labyrinth.

Starting to lay the bricks

The first bricks were laid today at 11:15 am!

Beginning of DAY 3

The start of day 3 looked much like the start of day 2. However if you look at the side, you can see how the grade was raised. This project seems to be all about the preparation. Lots of trucks and equipment work all day and in between they break out the leveling equipment.

beginning of DAY 2

Day 2 brings more leveling and more HEAT. It's coming along, slow but sure. No problems and continued prayers are keeping us in a forward momentum.

End of DAY 1

The construction of our Spiritual Labyrinth has begun. With the prayer and generous contributions of our church family and friends, the dream is becoming a reality. Todd Fetzer, Timberline Construction, is the chief builder. Also thanks to the Felber family from Felber Building Suppy for their assistance in obtaining the many bricks necessary for construction. Please follow the construction... problems and solutions... as the project takes shape.

The Memorial Walkway will be engraved after the stones are laid. A graph of the stones will be posted in the church in the near future so interested folks can check their brick to make sure what they want is engraved on it. It's not too late to make changes or purchase a brick. And, to those who haven't decided what you want on your brick, we really must have your decisions about your engraving soon.

The Spiritual Labyrinth will help us all in our spiritual journey. Take the time to pause, reflect, focus, center and walk the labyrinth after its completion. As you exit, reflect in your mind, on why you entered. Come and walk as often as you like, and whenever you like. Our Spiritual Labyrinth is open to all, all the time.
